Course Overview

In the dynamic landscape of healthcare, nurses play a vital role not only in delivering patient care but also in advocating for the well-being of individuals, communities, and the profession itself. “From Care to Action: Basics of Nurse Advocacy” is a comprehensive course designed to empower nurses with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to become effective advocates.

This course covers advocacy topics like nursing workforce issues, air quality and cardiovascular disease, and access issues in cardiovascular prevention. It also includes training on how to be an effective advocate.
