2023 ASCVD Key Opinion Leader Summit

To take a deeper dive into how critical stakeholders in ASCVD prevention and management can develop collaborative strategies and break down silos to enhance care PCNA planned and hosted a third installment roundtable summit on August 10, 2023.

Participants were intentionally selected to represent diverse settings, populations, and perspectives. The multi-disciplinary key opinion leaders ranged from nurse, physician, and pharmacist clinicians to executives representing patient advocacy and clinician-focused organizations to national and local policy leaders.

2021 ASCVD Key Opinion Leader Summit

To address barriers to optimal primary and secondary prevention of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), PCNA coordinated and hosted a virtual roundtable summit meeting on June 17, 2021, with key stakeholders from the continuum of care. Participants were purposefully selected from diverse geographical and practice settings, health policy/advocacy, and patient groups to discuss reducing ASCVD with a population health approach.

2022 ASCVD Key Opinion Leader Summit

To continue to address barriers to optimal primary and secondary prevention of ASCVD, PCNA coordinated and hosted a virtual roundtable summit meeting on August 17, 2022, with key stakeholders from the continuum of care including a patient advocate to bring forth the patient perspective.  This multi-disciplinary group took a deep dive into proposing calls to action to aid in effecting positive change in patient ASVCD-related health outcomes.
