Volunteer Opportunities with PCNA
The Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association’s community provides the vital support necessary to fulfill our mission of promoting nurses as leaders in cardiovascular disease prevention and management.
We have two levels of getting involved with PCNA. Interested in learning more and volunteering some of your time to PCNA? Complete the Volunteer Form. Interested in making a bigger commitment and becoming a PCNA leader? Fill out the Leadership Form.

Ways to Volunteer
with PCNA
- Assist with a Chapter event (registration table, set-up, and take-down, etc.)
- Become a Chapter Ambassador
- Present a CE deck at a Chapter program
- Assist with the Annual Symposium (moderate a breakout session, assist with the PCNA exhibit booth)
- Host a community outreach event in your area
- Submit an article or story for the PCNA newsletter
- Participate in education focus groups (either electronically or in person)

Ways to become a PCNA Leader
- Become an abstract mentor
- Develop patient education or suggest a new patient education/clinical resource for PCNA
- Create a CE slide deck for a live event

- Join a PCNA Committee
