Mary Janette Sendin

Mary Janette Sending, MSN, APRN-CNS, CCNS, PCCN, FPCNAfounder and Chapter Leader of the Central Florida Chapter has embraced learning and growing with the healthcare team for the past 35 years. Her experience in cardiovascular nursing in various roles, solidified her foundation as a clinician, a formal and informal leader, a learning facilitator and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-Clinical Nurse Specialist. As an APRN- CNS, Janette is uniquely qualified to use advanced knowledge, clinical inquiry, innovation, change management and critical thinking to lead clinical practice, help advance the practice of nursing, and serve as an organizational connector, using evidence and collaboration to move projects forward that significantly impact patient and system outcomes. These experiences enhanced her interest to focus not only on cardiovascular disease symptom and disease management but prevention. Since 2022 she has been a PCNA Project Development and Review Committee member and established the Central Florida Chapter in 2024.
