Mary Anne Poling is a dedicated Cardiac Clinical Navigator specializing in inpatient heart failure management at the Central Heart and Vascular Institute in Lynchburg, Virginia. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education, Mary Anne combines her passion for healthcare with a love for learning and teaching. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nursing Education, further enhancing her ability to educate and mentor future nursing professionals. In her role, Mary Anne is committed to providing exceptional care and support to patients with heart failure, ensuring they receive comprehensive management tailored to their needs. Her expertise is complemented by her enthusiasm for continuous education, both for herself and for her colleagues in the nursing field.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Mary Anne enjoys exploring her creative side through pottery courses and has a deep appreciation for historical dramas. She cherishes spending time with her husband, three children, and their dogs, embracing the joy of family life. Mary Anne believes in the power of community and education to improve health outcomes and is excited to contribute to the mission of the Preventative Cardiovascular Nurses Association as a co-leader.
