Emily Brown

Emily sees patients in the Center for Inherited Heart Disease at Johns Hopkins Hospital, specializing in amyloidosis, nonischemic cardiomyopathies, and dyslipidemias. Emily has worked as a cardiovascular genetic counselor with a specialization in amyloidosis since 2014. Over her career, she has had the honor of meeting with numerous patients and families affected by this condition, leading her to continue to advocate for family screening and accurate diagnosis. She has spoken both nationally and internationally on topics related to genetics and genetic testing for amyloidosis and has been involved in multiple clinical trials.
