Dr. Sean Lewandowski, RN, ACNP, DNP, is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in cardiovascular and critical care nursing. He has served in Cardiac Services at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco and Oakland since 2000, specializing in interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization, device management, and perioperative care. A Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on education, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF, where he teaches in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program and mentors future nurse leaders. His scholarship has been recognized with first place at the PCNA 2025 Annual Conference and forthcoming publication in the Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing. An active member of multiple professional organizations, including Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Lewandowski is dedicated to advancing cardiovascular nursing practice, education, and mentorship.
