Milagros Elia

Milagros Rosado Elia, MA, APRN, ANP-BC is the Program Manager for Climate and Clean Energy Advocacy at the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments, where she works to engage, educate, and mobilize nurses nationwide on federal climate solutions and clean energy advocacy campaigns that prioritized equity, decarbonization, and sustainability.

Milagros is a nationally recognized nurse leader, environmental health advocate, and international speaker with over 25 years of experience as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in oncology and community health.

She is the immediate-past chair of the former American Nurses Association’s Innovation Advisory Committee on Planetary and Global Health, and a current member of the National Hispanic Nurses Association’s Policy and Advocacy Committee.
