Laurie Matthews RN BSN CCRP CHC, is a proud alumna of Clemson University where she received her BSN degree in 1995. She began her nursing career on a cardiac/nephrology acute care unit and soon went on to serve as Nurse Manager of the Outpatient Observation/Cardiac Cath Recovery Unit. In 2007, Laurie had the opportunity to co-develop the Cardiac Rehab Program for the Medical College of Georgia. Laurie has spent the last 18 years in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. She is also a Certified Health Coach and has a passion for community outreach and heart attack and stroke prevention.
