Kim Hecker, BSN, BA, RN, has been a nurse for twelve years with Stanford Healthcare, starting her career in cardiothoracic ICU caring for post cardiac surgery patients, including transplants and advanced therapies such as ECMO and LVAD. After 7 years in ICU, she had the opportunity to transition to a nurse coordinator specializing in cardiomyopathy with the Stanford Cardiovascular Inherited Cardiac Disease clinic. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking “toddler-friendly” meals, and home renovation projects.
