Adeline “Addy” Assani-Uva is a Board-Certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN/ LDN), Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, and CDC Certified Lifestyle Coach with more than 20 years of experience in cardiometabolic health.

She emphasizes disease prevention, and successful management of chronic and infectious disease using the Food is Medicine Model.
Her endeavors advocate for the intersectionality of policy and healthy food access. As a health educator, clinician, and researcher who practices in a spectrum of settings, her passion is to see the application of culturally based health literacy into behavior change with optimal and sustainable results, thus reducing disparities in communities.
