“About 610,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year–that’s 1 in every 4 deaths”. -CDC Heart Disease Facts & Statistics
The Connecticut PCNA Chapter looks forward to capturing the hearts and minds of our treasured State of Connecticut, as well as the beautiful Pioneer Valley in southern Massachusetts. The Chapter was formed in 2015 under the collaboration of many medical professionals, as well as the support of Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT. The chapter was developed in hopes to engage all professionals in the medicine of preventative cardiovascular care across the continuum. The Connecticut Chapter wholeheartedly supports the American Heart Association, which states “You’re never too young or too old to take care of your heart!”
