Carissa Vukovich
Bio
Carissa Vukovich is an RN, PHN, and CPT. She is part of the RN Care Team at El Dorado Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Care Center. Carissa’s practice specializes in low fat, whole food, plant based nutrition education for prevention, management and reversal of chronic disease, namely cardiovascular disease. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Pacific and went on to earn a nursing degree. Carissa is also certified in telemetry. She is the Community Ambassador for the Plant Based Life Foundation, a co-leader for the Health Ministry at Holy Trinity Parish, and facilitates diabetes education workshops in her community. Carissa has been a member of PCNA since 2018 and a Central Valley Chapter leader since 2019.
