The Ocala Sunshine Chapter of Preventive Cardiology of Nursing Association serves the city of Belleview, Dunnellon, Citra, Fort Mc Coy, Silver Springs, Orange Lake, Ocklawaha, Summerfield, the town of Mcintosh, Reddick, Marion county, and Villages of Ocala, Florida areas.

Chapter Background

Our mission is to engage cardiovascular professionals of Ocala, promote nurses as leaders and increase awareness of PCNA and its benefits, and grow PCNA membership.

The Ocala Sunshine Chapter was started in July 2022 by Erum Jiva, to provide local opportunities for learning and professional growth through education and networking. Chapter activities include continuing education programs in the spring and fall, and exhibits at chapter networking meetings. Both members and non-members are invited to attend chapter events. The Ocala SunShine Chapter promotes primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease by providing current information and education on cardiovascular disease.
