The Great Lakes Chapter of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nursing Association serves all 83 counties in Michigan. We host quarterly meetings in mid- and west Michigan, with the ability to virtually join.

The chapter is currently led by Cathy Scott-Lynch, RN, BSN, MSN, CCM of the Michigan Education Special Services Association (MESSA). Our mission in the Great Lakes chapter is to reach more nurses who make a difference in the lives of others and to give them the educational resources and tools they need as they continuing to care for others. We are the Great Lakes Chapter, and we know it requires “water” to grow. Come grow with us.
“I have been a nurse for 4 decades working in critical care and emergency medicine. I spent several years at the UHC and DMC clinics, ICU and I am pediatric ventilator trained for home care. I have spent several years working with dual diagnosis and substance abuse, as well as a certified case manager. I have also taught nursing students at the BSN university level. I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given to learn and grow. I would love to team up with all my nursing colleagues as we learn and grow together.” – Cathy
