26th Cardiovascular Nursing Symposium Cancelled
It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the 26th Annual Cardiovascular Nursing Symposium. The decision to cancel was made based on the latest information from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization. We do not want to put anyone at additional risk for contracting the virus. In addition, most of our attendees work with patients who are high risk and contracting the virus could have serious medical consequences.
We acknowledge that this decision may inconvenience many of you, but please know that it was made out of deep concern for the health and well-being of everyone in attendance, as well as their patients and families.
We are actively working to process refunds for all registration fees. We are also working on virtual options to share the education that would have happened at the meeting or via the webcast. As we learn more, we will provide you with additional updates.

Will attendee registrations be refunded?
We are adjusting our refund policy for this year only. A full refund will be automatically generated for anyone that has registered for the 26th Annual Cardiovascular Nursing Symposium live event or associated webcast.
For attendees who paid by credit or debit card, refunds are being processed but may take up to 30 days to appear on your card statement.
For attendees who paid by check, refunds will be issued to the originator of the check and should arrive within 10-15 business days.
Will hotel costs be refunded?
The hotel’s refund policy allows for full cancellation up to 72 hours before your stay. Contact the Royale Caribe at (800) 823-8300 to cancel your reservation. PCNA will not be handling hotel refunds.
Will airline tickets be refunded?
PCNA will not be refunding individual airline ticket costs. Many airlines are waiving change fees and issuing travel credits for flights being canceled due to the coronavirus. Contact your airline directly regarding cancellations.
Will sessions made available virtually?
We are working hard on virtual options that share as much of the education from the meeting as possible. Stay tuned for more information.
Should I stop preparing my poster or presentation?

We plan to honor any 2020 Cardiovascular Nursing Symposium scholarships at next year’s meeting being held April 8-10, 2021 at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
