Dr. Trupp teaches pharmacology for advance practice nurses and cardiovascular topics in other courses at the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Nursing. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Heart Failure Nurses, American Heart Association, and American College of Cardiology. Dr. Trupp serves as the Heart Failure Clinical Specialist and Accreditation Review Specialist for the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Dr. Trupp's research focuses on adherence to continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) in adults with obstructive sleep apnea.
